Thistle PD is splendid! The other resorts paled in comparison and hunny says this every day during our stay. The resort has its own stretch of Teluk Kemang beach where hotel guests go for banana boat rides and jet-skiing. The resort is sooo pretty and we can make postcards out of some of hunny’s photographs there.

We spent the first afternoon in the swimming pool. Hunny was worried about me because it was deep – the shallow end being 1.5m and I’m like 1.54m(-) on good days. It was still nice dipping and wading near the sides of the pool as I was scared to venture out. No wonder they employed lifeguards!
Hunny gave me a margarita pizza and orange juice treat on our first night at Thistle. There were a bunch of Hong Leong staff on retreat but we had a whole restaurant to ourselves. Those people had separate breakfast the next day – Thank God.

We went to Seremban, yes all the way on the N-S express in a green Mercedes taxi which makes me feel so uncomfortable because I do not like the driver. He charged us RM80 and we found out later that it costs only 60.
We landed at the outback Seremban Parade where there is really nothing nothing nothing. I managed to get my mum a pc wallet, kids clothes and daddy’s polo t. (no pictures taken)
We learnt about the history of Negri Sembilan on our visit to the State Museum. The building has Minangkabau roof as an emblem to the state’s historical heritage. We went to look at the replicas of megaliths, sultan lineage and the philatelic exhibitions in the museum. I find that the museum’s unsuitable location and the lack of exhibits quite disappointing. I’m glad we went to the army museum at PD the next day to make up for it. Hunny took many nice pictures of us at both museums. Oh yes, and I helped to carry our tripod part of the way.
